Follo line tunnels

Construction of the railway systems of the longest railway tunnel in the Nordic countries, that consists of two parallel tunnels between the cities of Oslo and Ski. 

Scope: Procurement and construction of the railway systems and permanent mechanical equipment (traction power supply, overhead catenary system, infrastructure power supply, low voltage system, cable and conduits, fire fighting systems and telecom).

Client: Banenor (state owned enterprise responsible for the management of the Norwegian railway infrastructure), through the Acciona-Ghella Joint Venture.

Implementation: February 2016–October 2022

Follo line tunnels

Kristiansand Substation

Refurbishment of the 300 kV switchgear to establish a new control system for one of the largest air insulated outdoor substations in Norway.  

Scope: Design, groundworks, new control building, new foundations and cable ducts, low voltage cables and replacement old high voltage equipment in the 300 kV switchgear.

Client: Statnett (state owned enterprise responsible for owning, operating and constructing the system power grid in Norway).

Implementation: August 2017–October 2021

Kristiansand Substation

Leirdøla Substation

Design and build contract of a new 420 kV/132 kV conventional substation (AIS) for the replacement of the existing nearby substation.

Scope: Design, Procurement, Installation and Commissioning of: Groundworks, Control building, Transformer shelter, Foundations and associated cable ducts, OPI channels, 170kV HV Cable, Line spans, Auxiliary power supply systems and High Voltage equipment (420kV and 132kV).    

Client: Statnett

Implementation: February 2020–December 2022

Leirdøla Substation

Salten Substation

High voltage works of a new 420 kV/132 kV conventional substation (AIS).

Scope: Design, Procurement, Installation and Commissioning of: 170kV HV Cable, Line spans, Auxiliary power supply systems and High Voltage equipment (420kV and 132kV).

Client: Statnett

Implementation: February 2020–June 2023

Salten Substation

OCS Bergen Tram

Construction of the Overhead Catenary System for 9 km double track for the extension of the Bergen Tram.

Scope: completion of detailed design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of all equipment for the Overhead system for 9 km of double track including parking tracks.

Client: Bybanen Utbygging (public enterprise responsible for the development of the Bergen Tram).

Implementation: July 2020–October 2022

OCS Bergen Tram

Ski Station

Construction of the Overhead Catenary System for 7 km of tracks of the new railway station at Ski.

Scope: installation, testing and commissioning of the Overhead Catenary System types S25 and S20.

Client: Banenor (state owned enterprise responsible for the management of the Norwegian railway infrastructure), through OHLA.
